The digital repository of the collection 'Wolfgang Laade Music of Man Archive' is exempt from the obligation of accessibility according to § 9 paragraph 2 NBGG 'Contents of Internet pages and Apps', because it is a cultural heritage collection which cannot be converted barrier-free or only with disproportionate effort. This concerns in particular the text description of graphics as well as the transcriptions of the provided audio files according to BITV-Test 1.1.1. and 1.2.1 (see: https://www.bitvtest.de/bitv_test/das_testverfahren_im_detail/pruefschritte.html).

Conciliation procedure

If the above-mentioned contact information is not satisfactory, you can apply to the conciliation office, which is located at the state commissioner for people with disabilities in Lower Saxony, for conciliation proceedings to be initiated in accordance with the Lower Saxony Disability Equality Act (NBGG).

The arbitration board according to § 9 d NBGG has the task of settling disputes between people with disabilities and public bodies of the State of Lower Saxony on the subject of accessibility in IT. The arbitration procedure is free of charge. It is not necessary to call in legal assistance.
